At Browny, accessible from browny.ai, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and which third-party services process it on our behalf.

When you use Browny, we may collect the following information:

Account Information: If you sign in with Google, we receive your display name, email address, and profile photo via Firebase Authentication.
User Prompts: The text descriptions you input to generate a postcard.
Saved Postcard Content: The postcard text you have saved.
Uploaded Images: Any images you choose to upload for AI style transfer.
Payment Information: Subscription and billing details are collected and managed by Polar. We do not store your payment card information directly.

If you choose to make your postcard "Public", it will be displayed on our Community Feed for other users to see. Otherwise, it is only accessible via the unique URL generated for your postcard.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, operate, and maintain the Browny service
Send your text prompts to the OpenAI API to generate postcard content
Send your uploaded images to the OpenAI API for AI style transfer processing
Improve, personalize, and expand our service
Understand and analyze how you use our service

3. Third-Party Services

Browny uses the following third-party services that may receive or process your data:

OpenAI — processes text prompts and images for AI generation and style transfer. OpenAI Privacy Policy
Firebase / Google — provides authentication, database, file storage, and analytics. Google Privacy Policy

4. Data Storage & Retention

Postcards and associated data are stored in Firebase. Uploaded images are stored in Firebase Storage. Your data is retained until you delete your postcard, at which point the postcard content and any associated images are removed.

5. Log Files

Browny follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks.
